Nelly x Missy

Needed to do an image for a possible Nelly vs Missy shirt - so I first got some pics and vectorized them in Illustrator. Grabbed some text and other elements…

Then on to the general composition… during this stage I’m moving elements around, adding in shapes, really just trying to organize the elements.

I knew from the beginning that I wanted to do an “ink blob” type of image so of course the splatters needed to be thrown in (simply to be a lazy rip off artist).

Since this is supposed to be for young teenage girls, the colors are added accordingly.
